FAQ's

1. Will you “pay” for a graduating senior's cap and gown?

Yes! This is an outstanding offer!

We pay up to $39.95 toward the cap and gown fee if you purchase any of our three new print packages for 2008 graduating seniors. (See the “Prices” page for details)

2. Do you charge a sitting fee?

Yes. It is only $19.95 to guarantee your session. Additional prints, frames, albums and packages may be purchased also.

3. Where do you shoot?

There are a number of beautiful outdoor locations that we frequently use, such as Pt. Defiance Park in Tacoma, Wildwood Park in Puyallup, Mt. Rainier and at many other locations throughout Pierce County. Just ask, and chances are we have shot there!

We like to work outside, in a location that may have special meaning for the graduating student.

4. When do you shoot?

We highly recommend that senior pictures be completed in the summer, immediately after the junior year is completed.

June and July are by far the best. By August and September, schedules get very full as seniors are rushing to get everything done before the start of school in the Fall … and that creates a lot of unnecessary strain on them and the family.

5. Why do you shoot all-digital, all the time?

With digital photography, we know immediately if we got the shot. There is no guesswork and quality can easily be maintained.

6. Why are your prices so reasonable?

You'll find that our prices are hundreds of dollars lower than what other studios are charging in this area for similar services.

Why?

Well, for one – we don't have high overhead costs associated with our business … And, you'll find that what we offer – is what we'll deliver.

WARNING -- We continually hear of other photographers who encourage seniors to come to their studio with offers of no sitting fee and a low-ball price – and then, once the senior is there – they get a high-pressure pitch for a high-priced photo package. (It's not unusual for a graduating senior to be charged on average as much as $1,000 for senior pictures in our area – and we just think it would be better if your money were used for better purposes).

7. What do I get for my money at Northwest-Senior-Photos?

We provide all images as high resolution files on computerized DVD's for extra quality. These make poster-size prints if you want. Plus, we re-size all images to a smaller size that is more appropriate for sharing with friends on the internet or for making smaller 4” x 6” prints.

Our special “print packages” also provide you with high-quality, photographic prints (not just copies made from some ink-jet printer).

We also sell extra prints, frames, albums and portfolios as you wish.

8. Can I buy extra prints, portfolios and albums?

Yes. (See the “Prices” page for details)

9. Do you have a referral reward program?

Absolutely! Send us a friend who purchases any of our print packages – and receive from one to three extra sheets of wallet-size photos. (See the “Prices” page for details)

10. What if I want to be a representative for your studio?

That would be great! You can earn credits toward your senior pictures. (See the “Contact Us ” page for details)

11. Do you also shoot family portraits and weddings?

Yes. We have been shooting weddings for more than 20 years. (Please see our work at: www.northwest-wedding-photos.com)

12. Do you accept credit cards?

Yes. We've found this is an easy way for many to purchase the sessions and prints they want. Phone orders accepted. Just call us at: 253.579.4040 in Puyallup.
